Gaby Moreno

Singer and songwriter Gaby Moreno's original, attractive brand of Americana is offered in Spanish and English. Since moving to Los Angeles from her native Guatemala, she's released nine albums and earned major honors. Following her debut album, 2008's Still the Unknown, 2010's Illustrated Songs appeared the same year as her self-composed Emmy-nominated theme for Parks and Recreation. Moreno regularly contributes and records music for film, television, and theater, including Orange Is the New Black, The Valet, and Cabinet of Curiosities. 2012's Postales won a Latin Grammy, followed by Posada in 2014. 2016's Ilusión earned a Grammy nomination. For 2019's iSpangled!, she collaborated with Van Dyke Parks. Moreno's experimental, self-produced Alegoría won universal acclaim and a Latin Grammy nom. She followed it with the Grammy-winning X Mí (Vol. 1) in 2023, and the next year's Dusk. In 2026, Moreno debuted on Broadway as Persephone in Anais Mitchell's Hadestown.
