Lavender Diamond

Lavender Diamond began as a character in a performance art developed by artist and singer Becky Stark while studying at Brown University in Providence, Rhode Island. After graduation, Stark resettled in Los Angeles and formed a folk-rock quartet called Lavender Diamond with guitarist Jeffrey Rosenberg (since replaced by Devon Williams), pianist Steve Gregoropoulos, and drummer Ron Reges Jr. Their self-released debut EP, THE CAVALRY OF LIGHT, was reissued by Matador Records prior to their first full-length, IMAGINE OUR LOVE. Becky Stark also sings one of the lead roles on the Decemberists' musical theater concept album HAZARDS OF LOVE.
