We just knew when we made "Yes they do" collaborating with Donald Sheffey that we weren't just making music from a backroom, we were making memories and starting a movement much bigger than ourselves. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Bliss, Quiet Letters Daft Punk, Discovery Fat Freddy's Drop, Based on a True Story Discovery made us. Quiet Letters gave us something to feel. Based on a True Story by Fat Freddy’s Drop gave us a place to belong. Together, they shaped how we hear music, feel it, and imagine the world of The Moodyfreaks. Donald Sheffey) (Main Vocal Mix)” It's the song that cemented our place as musicians. It put us on a legendary status and as the last cohort of a nostalgic era in music in South Africa. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Working with Donald Sheffey, Sony, House Afrika, Spiritchaser, Alex Agore - legends who made the genre great, from listening to them to collaborating with them. It's a dream come true. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? We want a taste of Nirvana with our sound. We want to remembered for the visual and compelling storytelling using our music.
