In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I first fell in love with early to mid-20th century music listening to the jazz soundtracks of the cartoons and movie musicals of the 1930s and 1940s. They inspired me to become a professional animator & I created 2 short animated films for the NFB. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? ABBA, ABBA Gold: Greatest Hits Bonnie Raitt, Luck of the Draw Yaz, Upstairs at Eric's The albums I listened to at key points of my creative journey. ABBA- Drew cartoon characters for my futuristic band that had their sound. Yaz-1st year of art school drawing & painting late into the night on assignments. Bonnie R - Wrote my 1st song Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Under the Blue Skies” I wrote this song after 2 months in pandemic lockdown. At that point I didn't feel music at all. However, when Spring came I felt the spark again. I picked up my ukulele, turned on my looper & started to play. The clouds parted & out came this song.
