Parts & Labor

Brooklyn's Parts & Labor create a boisterous delivery of ecstatic guitars, squelching electronics, muscular drumming, and rackety vocals, emphasizing freewheeling noise as well as strong melodies. The band became mainstays of the noise rock underground during the 2000s, touring constantly and releasing acclaimed albums such as Stay Afraid (2006) and Receivers (2008). With 2011's Constant Future, the group dialed down the noise and released their most cohesive and accessible work. Parts & Labor disbanded in 2012, around the time of their tenth anniversary, but they reunited in 2026 with two of their previous drummers back in the fold, and issued the epic double album Set of All Sets.
