In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. Writing This Side of Paradise, when Grayson brought a DL4 guitar pedal to practice and tapped in that intro riff. Combining it with a hi-hat pattern inspired by Max Roach's Voss Jazz Festival solo. A strange combination created such a great song. Tell us why you chose this song. “Stranger Than” I love the direction we are heading in with our new music, and Stranger Than is sort of the entry point to getting back to what made music fun for us. A sense of mixing-up different genres to create something that sounds like us coyotes. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? There's SO much left on the list. We're just getting started in so many ways. We'd love to bring in more collaboration with our favorite artists and producers, perform on bigger stages, and more. Everything is cherries at this point!
