In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I remember starting a rap group called the ABC's in my after-school program and writing all of our rhymes. I didn't know songwriting was a talent. I literally thought that everyone had this skill. Now, I'm writing songs daily...since 4/15/2017 What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Mariah Carey, Mariah Carey Michael Jackson, The Essential Michael Jackson USHER, Confessions (Expanded Edition) These three artists' songs are my musical DNA. The songs on these albums helped me expand my vocal ability, my songwriting ability, and my production skills. The songs on these albums still hold up. Tell us why you chose this song. “Scene of the Crime” This song was the last song to be added to my album, LAX. I wrote it after waking up from a nap and it felt like a melodic gift had been dropped into my lap. It cut the line! I even got to film the video in Paris, a city that is dear to moi!
