Laurie Jones

About Laurie Jones

A singer/songwriter whose warm, gritty mix of adult-alternative, country, folk, and rock shows hints of artists like Tom Petty, Lucinda Williams, and Sheryl Crow, Laurie Jones emerged with After the Crash in the early 2000s. She continued to record and tour with her backing band while releasing albums like a 2007 eponymous LP. In 2016, the collection The Truth About Her represented highlights of her first decade-and-a-half of solo material. She credited 2017's Bridges to the Laurie Jones Band before stripping her moniker back to Laurie Jones for Dark Horse in 2021.
