The Id

On the surface, the Id might seem like just another in a long line of studio groups put together to cash in on the psychedelic fad. Their one and only album, 1967's The Inner Sound of the Id, was full of sitar riffs, pretentious narration, and a trippy concept, but beneath the trappings were tough oddball garage rock songs played by skilled musicians with serious credentials.
