Roger Roger

About Roger Roger

Roger Roger was a prolific French composer of soundtrack music whose work encompassed themes for radio, television, commercials, cartoons, and live productions. Primarily, however, he scored films -- over 500 by his own count. Notable releases include 1955's Thrilling, 1962's Tourbillon De Paris, and Metropole Orchestra's 1985 recording of his compositions entitled Grands Travaux. Roger died on June 12, 1995, at the age of 83. The Whimsical Days compilation contained remasters of orchestral pieces such as Busy Streets, The Jolly Postman, and Western Montage. ~ Jason Ankeny
