Kendo Kaponi

Puerto Rican rapper Kendo Kaponi (José Fernando Rivera Morales) overcame a difficult childhood, foster care, and years of incarceration before building a career as a songwriter and rapper. After working with major reggaeton labels and artists, he gained recognition through collaborations with Baby Rasta, Arcángel, Daddy Yankee, Farruko, Bad Bunny, and Anuel AA. Known for his gritty blend of trap, rap, and reggaeton, Kaponi released his debut album El Alfa y El Omega in 2018. Following personal setbacks and legal troubles that slowed his career, he returned in 2026 with his long-awaited second album, Apocalipto.
