In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I remember when I got my first CD player and put on Bic Runga's "Drive" album. The clarity and depth to that album completely blew me away and I learned to harmonise while singing that release on repeat. It was complicated and beautiful. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Jordie Lane, Sleeping Patterns The Paper Kites, States Zee Avi, Zee Avi Two of these Australian bands really influenced my writing and encouraged me to be true to my own style. And Zee Avi was just an album that I have enjoyed for years. Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Black Dog” This was written about walking through dark times. The need for persistence and strength and to "dance through the puddles". Life takes us on different courses and hope and resilience are important. This song meant a lot to a few friends of mine.
