Malena Ernman

Mezzo-soprano Malena Ernman is known not only for opera but also for pop crossover material in several languages. Later in life, she gained some celebrity as the mother of climate activist Greta Thunberg. Ernman has a substantial recording catalog, ranging from cabaret songs to opera. In 2025, she was featured on the album Terra Mater with the early music chamber group L'Arpeggiata and its director, Christina Pluhar.
