In the back of the car heading to the beach with my family in Australia and listening to mixtapes my sister would make with all my Mum's favourite 50's and 60's songs, so lots of Neil Sedaka, Bob Dylan, Beach Boys, Beatles, Joni etc. Formative! What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Chet Baker, Chet Baker Sings Miles Davis, Kind of Blue The Jimi Hendrix Experience, Electric Ladyland These three records, diverse as they are, had the most profound affect on me as a teenager. As a 15 year old I wanted to play piano like Bill Evans, sing like Chet Baker and play guitar like Jimi Hendrix. I'm still trying! Recorded in my pal Fred's kitchen, it has taken on a life of its own that I could never have imagined. I am so touched that it continues to speak to so many people.
