In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. One of my earliest musical memories is listening to my dad's cassette tape of Parliament's song "Flashlight" and being totally mesmerized by the sounds. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Frank Ocean, Blonde Kings of Convenience, Declaration of Dependence Pedro the Lion, Havasu This is an impossible choice, but these albums are amongst the rank of records I come back to all the time. Tell us why you chose this song. “Trying To Sleep” It's a visceral memory of wanting to get home so badly that I convinced myself if I could just sleep as much as possible, the time to go home would arrive much more quickly. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? I have recently unlocked how my personal process of songwriting works best; taking my time to write on the guitar without any other elements. Once the song feels solid with just me and a guitar, the arrangement in a recording brings it to life. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? Creating what I can for myself in a way that's helpful is all I'm ever hoping for - anything on top of that is a bonus.
