In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. My first musical memory is listening to Baba O'Riley on my dad's record player in the attic. As a 10 year old, it was a religious experience for me and shaped who I would become as a songwriter. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Denny Seiwell, Fernando Perdomo, RAM ON: The 50th Anniversary Tribute to Paul and Linda McCartney's RAM Tortoise, TNT Ram - my favorite album of all time since the first day I heard it. Timeless and magical. TNT - best instrumental album ever. Benny Sings "Music" - pure funky yacht rock bliss. Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Jovie” I wrote this song for my daughter Jovie before she was born. It was the last song she heard in the womb and the first song she heard on planet earth. To this day, she and I both light up every time we hear it. It's "our" song. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? My band Onward, Soldiers got to tape a live performance for the show "Sun Sessions" filmed live at Sun Studio in Memphis, TN. I got to play Jerry Lee Lewis' piano. It aired on PBS. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? The obvious: Red Rocks, a Grammy nomination, tour with a national artist. My true goal is to continue to release new music every couple years. That's all I've ever wanted.
