In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I started ballet and piano lessons from a young age, and one of my earliest musical memories is listening to classical music in my bedroom and feeling so moved that I had to dance. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? In 2012 I got to open for Rusted Root, and one of the biggest shows we played was at Cubby Bear in Chicago. The crowd had no idea who we were but as soon as we walked onto the pitch black stage, all 800 people started cheering. It was electrifying! Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? Now that I have a growing family, I would love to play summer festivals that we can all travel to and have my kids grow up around music and art and beautiful community.
