About Rose Falcon
In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. At five, I was singing background vocals on my dad’s record when Jon Bon Jovi walked in. My heart pounded, but I sang even better once he arrived. That moment taught me nerves mean you care, and if you push through, something real always shows up. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Fiona Apple, Tidal Ray LaMontagne, Trouble (20th Anniversary Remaster) Ryan Adams, Heartbreaker Trouble takes me back to my West Village days—timeless and aching, with “Jolene” as a favorite. Heartbreaker is honest, messy, full of heart. Tidal showed me vulnerability in music—lyrics like pages from a novel: intelligent, emotional, poetic. Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Give in to Me” I wrote Give In to Me with my dad, and we rarely get to write together. Later Faith Hill recorded it for Country Strong, and Garrett Hedlund and Leighton Meester performed it in the film. Hearing it move people that deeply still means everything. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Finding out Eric Paslay’s Friday Night hit number one was surreal. Songwriting is so subjective, but that proved our work connected. I was on tour in New York City, ran into Bloomingdale’s, and bought shoes to celebrate a dream come true. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I’d love to play the Ryman someday. It’s my favorite venue to see shows, intimate, timeless, and full of history. There’s a sacred feeling in that room that makes every lyric land just a little deeper.
