About Igor Longhi

In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. One of my earliest musical memories is sitting at the piano and realizing how a single note could linger longer than its sound. I was drawn to silence, touch, and resonance — elements that still shape my music today. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Die 12 Cellisten der Berliner Philharmoniker, Gidon Kremer, Keith Jarrett, Arvo Pärt: Tabula Rasa Keith Jarrett, The Köln Concert (Live) Nils Frahm, Late Night Tales: Nils Frahm I chose these albums because they share a deep attention to space, presence, and emotional honesty. Each of them shows a different way music can exist beyond structure — as touch, breath, and quiet connection. Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Suddenly a Rainbow Appears” “Suddenly a Rainbow Appears” captures quiet intimacy and delicate felt piano layers. Each note and pause invites the listener to slow down, reflect, and truly inhabit the sound. A piece to be felt, not just heard. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? One of the most memorable moments in my career was realizing that silence during a performance could be as meaningful as the notes themselves — when an audience chose to stay still and listen, rather than fill the space. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? To continue creating spaces where people feel safe enough to slow down and listen deeply. Rather than specific milestones, my focus is on preserving honesty and presence in the work as it evolves.
