Lyric Jones

A highly credentialed independent hip-hop artist with an apt stage name, Lyric Jones has been active since the late 2000s, steadily garnering acclaim for her unassuming if authoritative microphone command and equally purposeful rhymes and hooks. Among dozens of singles and featured appearances, she has issued a handful of albums and EPs that range from Jones St. (2011) to Closer Than They Appear (2020). Known foremost as a rapper and singer, Jones is also a drummer, producer, and DJ, who expanded her scope to house music with 2024's "Better Now."
