Joya Mooi

Joya Mooi is a South African-Dutch singer/songwriter whose warm, flowing vocal style and sound, initially rooted in jazz, have expanded to include alternative R&B, electronic pop, and trap. Her early albums were a testament to her jazz roots, while later works like 2019's The Ease of Others, 2023's What's Around the Corner, and 2024's Open Hearts EP incorporated more pop, R&B, and hip-hop-leaning elements, showcasing her soulful and introspective songwriting in a new light.
