Vintersorg

Vintersorg is a Swedish heavy metal outfit that incorporates elements of folk, Viking, progressive, and black metal into their evocative sound. Led by Andreas Hedlund, the band's primary composer, vocalist, and multi-instrumentalist, the band's sound has evolved over the years -- from the folk-influenced black metal of Till Fjälls (1998) and Ödemarkens Son (1999) to more experimental and progressive works like The Focusing Blur (2004) and Vattenkrafternas Spel (2025), all rooted in themes of mythology, cosmology, and the natural world.
