About Diego Torres

Diego Torres is a three-time Latin Grammy-winning Argentine pop singer, songwriter, musician, and actor. He has explored many musical directions during his career including Latin pop, tropical, and even rock & roll music. He is a member of the Latin Songwriters Hall of Fame, and the son of the Argentine icon Lolita Torres. Beside the Grammys -- he's been nominated 17 times -- he has won numerous other awards throughout Latin America. His hit single "Color Esperanza," released as an anthem of hope during Argentina's economic depression, has become a standard for school choirs since its release in 2001. He performed it for Pope Francis in 2015. Atlantico de Pie appeared in 2021 and was followed by the wildly diverse Mejor Que Ayer in 2024. ~ Thom Jurek
