In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. As the youngest growing up in our big family, Dad brought home 45s from his job where jukebox records were replaced and it was like Christmas. We’d play them all, finding lifelong favorites as I imagined singing them on stage before a live audience. Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Lights of December” It was written about how in small towns like where I grew up, family traditions, community, and the emotional part of Christmas still hold a lot of value. I offer a subtle reminder of the reason for the season and of gratitude and togetherness. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? The first time my daughter came out to see me perform. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? My musical bucket list is long, but it’s really about continuing to create music and perform. When we discover something that genuinely brings us joy and fulfillment, it just makes sense to do it often and keep growing through it. Life is short.
