Little Gold

After making a name for himself as co-founder of Meneguar and Woods, songwriter Christian DeRoeck launched Little Gold as an outlet for his country influences. The group debuted in 2009 with the melancholic On the Knife before returning in 2010 with a revised lineup and a brighter set of songs. With bassist Brian Markham and drummer Pat Broderick (both members of the Brooklyn-based psych group Ancient Sky) now on board, the group released a 7” single, Completely F****d!, before heading back into the recording studio to record a proper follow-up. ~ Andrew Leahey
