In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I was 5 on my way to a piano lesson in Minsk with my mum and saw a snail that I wanted to take home and keep as a pet. My mum said if I did a good job in my lesson then I could keep it. I did not do a good job. She let me keep it anyway. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Connan Mockasin, Jassbusters King Crimson, In the Court of the Crimson King (Expanded Edition) Smerz, Big city life Bursting with creativity, emotion, and ease. I love it when the focus is on arrangement and instrumentation, not so much on vocals. I really look up to these albums. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Releasing my first single, and going through the entire process beginning to end. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I want to make it onto KEXP, Tiny Desk, and Takeaway Show.
