In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. Picking sessions with my grandaddy on the front porch. I'd try to keep up with him. Those nights taught me that music isn't about being perfect, it's about feeling it. That porch was my first stage & I've been chasing that same feeling ever since. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Fleetwood Mac, Rumours Super Deluxe Edition Miranda Lambert, Palomino Sheryl Crow, The Globe Sessions There's something timeless about the storytelling & raw emotion on Rumours. It's honest, messy & real. Globe Sessions taught me that you don't have to fit into box to make people feel something. Palomino captures the restless spirit I relate to. Tell us why you chose this song. “Best Seat In The House” This song about my grandad, who was my biggest inspiration is a reminder that even when someone's gone, their love still fills a room. Everytime I play it, I feel like he's right there in the best seat, still requesting, "Sing Patty Loveless!" What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? The moments that stick with me are the people I've met on the road. The one's who sing every word back, share laughs or raise a glass after a show. That's the heartbeat of what I do, it's not "fans," it's family on the road. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I'm chasing a few dream stages, Red Rocks, The Gorge, the Grand Ole Opry, all bucket list goals. But more than anything, I want to keep writing songs that outlive me, keep pushing boundaries & keep proving that rock n roll still has a country soul.
