Autistic Youth

Autistic Youth are an American punk band from Portland, Oregon. The group was formed in 2003 by guitarists Alex Tryon and Adam Becker, along with bassist Nick Vicario and drummer Seve Sheldon. Influenced by classic '80s West Coast punk bands like the Adolescents and the Wipers, Autistic Youth released their debut LP, Landmine Beach, in 2006. The band spent the next several years touring both stateside and in Europe. A single and an EP followed, and in 2010 they signed with esteemed Northwestern punk label Dirtnap Records, which released their second LP, Idle Minds. The band continued to tour internationally, eventually releasing its third album, Nonage, in 2013. ~ Timothy Monger
