Renee Stahl

With a warm, gentle voice suited for acoustic singer/songwriter material and kid-friendly folk songs as well as atmospheric dance tracks, Renee Stahl has made a career out of all of the above. After releasing her first solo album, the aptly titled Melancholy Pop, in 2002, she formed the children's music duo Renee & Jeremy with Brad bassist Jeremy Toback. They issued their first album, It's a Big World!, in 2007. Her voice was featured on several EDM tracks by artists including Ronski Speed and Bogdan Vix beginning in the early 2010s. Credited to Renee & Friends, her 2015 children's album, Simpatico, included appearances by Colin Hay, Toad the Wet Sprocket's Glen Phillips, and Maya Rudolph. ~ Marcy Donelson
