In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. One of the first things I heard at home was the Beatles. We had a double LP. The two lp's were red. It fascinated me, because of the color and the music. I loved it. My brother listened and I sat next to him with my ear against his headphone. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Corinne Bailey Rae, Corinne Bailey Rae John Mayer, Continuum Van Morrison, Avalon Sunset These albums were on my short list for a long time. And they inspiring and great to sing along. Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Katie-katoe” The words Katie-Katoe don't exist. The song is about saying 'I love you' in different ways. Ik was so surprised and happy to hear this song was nominated for best song for children in 2008. also, this song is one of my favorites. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? In 2015 and 2016 I performed with three different big orchestra's in The Netherlands. In 2025 I received the BUMA CULTUUR AWARD for my oeuvre. For writing songs for children that had impact on families and culture. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? Oh Yes. I'm with a new label since 2026 (Top Notch). I'm looking forward to meet lots of interesting musicians and collaborations . A big wish in the back of my head is to make an album for adults too.
