In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I remember trying to sleep when I was 4 or 5. I could hear my Dad downstairs tinkering away on his acoustic guitar when he thought everyone was asleep. Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Groove Armada, Another Late Night: Groove Armada (DJ Mix) John Martyn, Solid Air (Deluxe Edition) Another Late Night: Groove Armada introduced me to so many different styles of music. It broadened my musical taste. John Martyns Solid Air blew my mind when I heard it. It still sounds so fresh. Damien Rice O, opened my eyes to songwriting. Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “See You When You Get There” I love the simplicity of this song. It's the closest I've ever got to writing a kind of JJ Cale song, and believe me, I've tried a few times! What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Just before Covid shut everything down , I went to do a tour of South Brazil. I played with full concert orchestra, I jammed blues with some incredible musicians and radio support locally meeant that people were singing along at all my shows. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I still haven't played Glastonbury, that would be incredible.
