In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. My mother playing classical music in the living room. I started playing piano when I was 10. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Brad Mehldau Trio, Brad Mehldau Trio (Live) Pat Metheny Group, Pat Metheny Group Vince Mendoza, Vince Mendoza I love these three artists and their music, which has been a huge influence on me. Pat Metheny with his compositions, along with Lyle Mays; Vince Mendoza with his amazing music and orchestration; and Brad Mehldau, my favorite living pianist/composer. Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “3 Marias (feat. John Patitucci, Eric Harland, John Ellis, Rogerio Boccato & Anne Boccato)” I love this song because it incorporates all my influences: Brazilian, Jazz, Classical, and Pop music. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Recording my first solo album in NYC at Avatar Studios. It's called Eleven Moons, and I've got some icons of contemporary world jazz on it, like John Patitucci, Antonio Sánchez, John Ellis, Rogério Boccato, and Anne Boccato. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? A future project, following my last three albums, will be a new album with my original music in the same format, plus orchestral arrangements.
