Selector Dub Narcotic

Indie rock legend Calvin Johnson uses the moniker Selector Dub Narcotic for his party-friendly excursions into dub, disco, and hip-hop. Spinning off from his group Dub Narcotic Sound System, he compiled an album titled Selector Dub Narcotic in 1998 and subsequently used the moniker for DJ sets and dub versions. A full-length titled This Party Is Just Getting Started arrived in 2016, and Selector Dub Narcotic returned with his second album, When Boys Cry, in 2025.
