In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. mmmmmm I remember "I'm Blue (Da Ba Dee)" by Eifell 65 affecting me on a deep level on a field trip to the planetarium in the first grade. A truly psychedelic experience. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Daft Punk, Discovery Steely Dan, Aja Remastered Toro y Moi, Anything in Return I just love all three of these records so much and they've inspired the Jonie project in their musicality, creativity, and overall ~ aesthetic ~. Tell us why you chose this song. “Asphalt” I wrote this one on July 4th, 2020 after a period of feeling very isolated during the pandemic. Watching the fireworks from my window with my wife made me feel a sense of togetherness and appreciation for life. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? Compose a score for a movie! I love the synth rich scores of the 70's and 80's from John Carpenter, Giorgio Moroder, Angelo Badalamenti, Tangerine Dream, and Vangelis. I'm big fan of horror films and would love to contribute music to a project.
