About Reza Khan
In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I grew up in Bangladesh in a musical family where i was introduced to music, and I began studying "tabla" at age eight. Hearing Peter Frampton made me fall in love with guitar, and discovering Pat Metheny at 15 sparked my lifelong passion for jazz. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Acoustic Alchemy, Aart Fourplay, Fourplay Pat Metheny, Secret Story Bonus Track Version Secret Story by Pat Metheny showed me how cinematic and emotional jazz could be. AArt by Acoustic Alchemy inspired me with its elegant acoustic guitar grooves and melodies. Fourplay’s debut defined modern smooth jazz with incredible musicianship. Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Waiting for the Sky (feat. David Mann & Miles Gilderdale)” “Waiting for the Sky” reflects a sense of patience and quiet hope. I wanted the guitar melody to feel lyrical and expressive over a warm contemporary jazz groove, creating a spacious, uplifting mood where emotion and melody guide the journey. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? One of my most memorable moments was realizing my music was reaching listeners around the world. Knowing that my melodies could connect with people across cultures continues to inspire me every time I write and record new music. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? One of my goals as an artist is to continue evolving creatively, collaborate with inspiring musicians, and perform for audiences around the world. Sharing my music live and connecting with listeners globally remains an important part of my journey.
