In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I remember my mom buying me my first electric guitar. It was a sunburst Stratocaster style electric guitar. I played the guitar through a keyboard amplifier, and it was challenging at first. But, eventually I was able to write my own songs. Afrojam Funkbeat, ¡ESSO! Afrojam Funkbeat I learned about what it takes to create soulful music and how to collaborate effectively through these albums. Tell us why you chose this song. “No Hay Otra (feat. Jugo de Mango & ¡Esso! Afrojam Funkbeat)” This song grooves was fun to make. It started with a simple chord progression and the beats and lyrics enhanced the overall vibe of the song. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Getting to perform at Millenium Park with my friends. It really meant so much to play at one of the most revered stages in the city of Chicago! Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I am all about collaboration and would love to work with different artists to create something new and fresh.
