Hetty Koes Endang

Endang has done much in the 1980s to revive the historic form kroncong, which is a blending of Indonesian and Portugese styles. Kroncong is performed by a diverse ensemble of instruments and is fronted by female singer who performs in a lazy, saccharine style. ~ Leon Jackson
