In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I remember my Mom teaching me the alto line for songs we would sing together with our family. My first recording experience was using two tape recorders to record harmonies with myself and stacking vocals going back and forth between the two. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Coldplay, Ghost Stories Ray LaMontagne, Gossip In The Grain (Expanded Edition) Coldplay took a left turn with Ghost Stories. It was one of those that I didn't like much at first, but then it grew on me in a deep place. Gossip in the Grain is like laying in the dirt on a mild, partly-cloudy day. Jess Russ)” It's the only reminder I need in this life that will take me to joys of the next. Also, I met my future friend and music director for the next season of shows the day we wrote it- along two other who have become friends and one those sang on it.
