Ovanir Buosi

Among Brazil's leading orchestral musicians, clarinetist Ovanir Buosi has also performed and recorded as a soloist. He is the longtime principal clarinetist of the São Paulo State Symphony Orchestra. Buosi has made several appearances in Britain, where he rounded out his training, and he has performed as far afield as China. He has made several recordings, including one performing the Clarinet Concertino of Francisco Mignone on the album Francisco Mignone: Concertos and Concertinos, released on the Naxos label in 2024.
