Nucular Aminals

With a misspelled name and an equally slack indie aesthetic, Nucular Aminals formed in 2007 when San Franciscans and former members of Marriage + Cancer guitarist Robert Comitz and keyboardist Erin Schmith relocated to Portland, Oregon to put together a new group with bassist Jheremy Grigsby and drummer Wiley Hickson. K Records was drawn to the band’s sound and signed Nucular Aminals, just before releasing their self-titled debut in 2011. ~ Jason Lymangrover
