In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. In '94, during a trip to NY, I witnessed the city get taken over by Craig Mack's "Flava In Ya Ear". The way it brought people together left a lasting impression on me. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Jeru the Damaja, The Sun Rises in the East Mary J. Blige, iTunes Originals: Mary J. Blige The Notorious B.I.G., Ready to Die (The Remaster) Notorious B.I.G.'s "Ready to Die" for raw storytelling, Jeru the Damaja's "The Sun Rises in the East" for infectious production and thought-provoking subject matter, and Mary J Blige's "My Life" for her relatable and emotional singing. Tell us why you chose this song. “Small Town Girl” This is me reflecting on my own personal relationship, allowing you in to see a small glimpse of what that looks like on a day to day basis. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? A career highlight was being featured on Jadakiss' "Who Really Got Barz" mixtape in 2020 during the pandemic. It was an unexpected opportunity that I'm grateful for. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? As an artist, I still have a lot on my bucket list. Performing both overseas and in the US, landing a role in a feature film, and collaborating with Drake are all big dreams of mine.
