Carla Morrison

Carla Morrison is a Mexican indie artist whose music blends cinematic pop and rock influences. ∙ She has been nominated for two Grammy Awards, both in the Best Latin Rock, Urban or Alternative Album category, including one for her 2012 LP, Déjenme Llorar. ∙ Latin superstars Nicky Jam and Ricky Martin have recorded with Morrison, and she had a No. 1 Mexican airplay hit with her 2013 Los Ángeles Azules collaboration, “Las Maravillas De La Vida.” ∙ Her three Latin Grammy Award wins include Best Alternative Song honors for 2012’s “Déjenme Llorar” and 2015’s “Vez Primera.” ∙ In 2015, her Amor Supremo LP reached No. 4 on Billboard’s Top Latin Albums chart.
