The Olympians

The Olympians are an instrumental retro-R&B and soul band led by songwriter, arranger, producer, and multi-instrumentalist Toby Pazner. He had worked with El Michels Affair, Menahan Street Band, and the Expressions; on his own, he adopts much of the same musical world view and approach. The first album he made under the name, 2016's Olympians, was a tight and funky slice of nostalgic soul. 2026's In Search of a Revival added more influences and orchestral shadings while still sounding like it could have been part of a well-stocked jukebox in 1967.
