In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I was lucky to grow up with the sound of my father singing and playing the piano. He had the voice of an old jazz crooner; smooth and soulful. He filled our home with the sound of big band and jazz standards, leaving an immeasurable influence on me. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? D'Angelo, Brown Sugar Erykah Badu, Baduizm Rufus Wainwright, Want One All three of these albums have a level of musicality and soul that resonates with me deeply. Tell us why you chose this song. “Some Changes Change Everything” I wrote this song after losing my dog Moose. His passing was the catalyst that began my neo-classical piano composing work. The deep need to express my grief through piano turned into a passion for instrumental expression.
