In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I vividly remember being introduced to Skrillex in my dad's car when I was around 9 or 10. I was blown away by how cool it sounded- I'd never heard anything like it before! From that point on, I knew I wanted to make music. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? ERRA, ERRA Jane Remover, Frailty brakence, hypochondriac All three of these albums are incredibly special to me. For ERRA, it's their songwriting, lyricism, and vocals (Jesse's in particular). Both Hypochondriac and Frailty are super special to me for reasons I can't really explain- they're just beautiful. Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Mirrors” One thing that makes Mirrors so special to me is that it's the first time I've written lyrics and recorded my own vocals on a track. I was very inspired at the time and the song still leaves me feeling like I can do anything when it comes to music. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? I performed at my university for a huge crowd, and they really loved my song Way U Are. It's an incredible feeling seeing so many people vibe with something I created. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? To write a full-length concept album. I write down ideas for concept albums all the time, but I'm still learning how to write lyrics for songs and process vocals in my production. One day I'll have enough experience to do it!
