In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. One of our first memories is cramming into Axel's and Heiko's basement in Braunschweig with a broken PA, blasting Sublime covers and early song ideas. No clue technically, but the sweat, noise, and joy of it still drive Loudog today. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Operation Ivy, Operation Ivy (2007 Remaster) Sublime, 40oz. to Freedom The Slackers, Redlight A perfect mix of punk, ska, and reggae that blended our tastes, soulful ska with heart and storytelling that shaped our songs, and raw, political energy that wrote the ska-punk rulebook and still hits hard today. Tell us why you chose this song. “Party Thieves” Party Thieves is high-energy, fast, and chaotic in the best way – a raw ska-punk track that gets people moving instantly. Live, it feels like the crowd and the band are stealing the party together. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? One of the best parts of our journey has been sharing the stage with idols like The Slackers, The Toasters, The Real McKenzies, Karamelo Santo, and more. Playing alongside the bands that inspired us has been both humbling and energizing. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? Plenty. We'd love to take Loudog outside of Europe, play in Latin America or Japan where ska and reggae scenes are huge, and release another record that captures both the old energy and everything we've learned along the way.
