Los Camperos de Valles

From the mountains of northern Mexico, Los Camperos play the son Huasteco, a style of Mexican country music. After becoming local favorites (at weddings, birthdays, etc.), the trio began to play at world music festivals and earned a contract with the Rounder Records imprint Corason. El Triunfo features Heliodoro Copado (violin), Marcos Hernandez (falsetto vocals, quinta guitar) and Gregorio Solano (backup vocals). ~ John Bush
