Tomáš Netopil

Conductor Tomás Netopil has emerged at the forefront of the younger Czech conductors vying to succeed the Czech legends of the baton. He has made a strong impact in Western Europe as well as in his native country. Netopil conducted the Prague Radio Symphony Orchestra on 2023's Jan Novák: Concertos and 2025's Shostakovich & Prokofiev: Violin Concertos. He also worked with the Czech Philharmonic on several recordings, including The Recovery of Paradise (Blackford Cello Concerto).
