In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. As a young child, I enjoyed picking out melodies on our old upright piano. I began piano lessons at age 6 and my first teacher was a composer, Alma Grace Miller. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? David Howard, Lynn Stanford, Music for Ballet Class with Lynn Stanford & David Howard Vol 1 - 8201Ca When I heard this music it inspired me to create my own music for ballet class. Tell us why you chose this song. “Plie” I like this piece because it works for many slower ballet exercises, besides plies, for instance Adagio. It is written out as an Adagio on my new piano music book! What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Creating music for a Ballet in my studio. And watching it being performed by the Appalachian Ballet Theater.
