Serge Lebrasse

Lebrasse learned the sega style from his neighbor, pioneer P'tit Frere, and began performing in the '50s. At first he found it difficult to make a living at it, but by the 1960s, sales of his records rivaled those of imported pop. He has toured widely around the Indian Ocean and Europe. ~ Steve Huey
